My name is Craig Willy and I am an EU affairs consultant and political writer with a focus on human nature, biotechnology, and international relations.

With a decade of EU affairs work in Brussels, I have reported, communicated, and advised clients on the politics and policies of the European Union, the world’s most significant experiment in transnational democracy and a formidable trade and regulatory power.

I have worked and written for a variety of organizations, including the Bertelsmann Foundation, EurActiv, the German Press Agency (DPA), and the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR). I currently work as a consultant for Acumen, one of Brussels’ leading public affairs consultancy, with a focus on health and biotech policies.

My published work has been featured in a wide variety of print and digital media, including EUObserver, VoxEurop, OECD blogs, the LSE EUROPP blog, the Fair Observer, and the magazines Marianne, Dilema Veche, and The Parliament.

You can follow my work on Twitter and by subscribing to this blog using the newsletter registration form below or the RSS feed.
